I belong to a lot of social networks and SWOM has quickly become one of my favorites. I like that I don't have to delete a bunch of stuff someone posted on my profile every time I log-in like I do with some of the others.
Believe it or not I hadn't planned on staying in SWOM when I was first invited. I joined SWOM to check out the competition. I stayed because so many people sent me friend requests and I started to develop relationships based on mutual respect without getting spammed in every message I was sent.
After I joined a few groups I gained a few more friends that know the difference between a friend request and a customer request and I really started to notice the level of professionalism members display.
I love having the ability to build relationships first and then being able to check out my new friends business recommendations when I get curious by going to their profile.
